Kristen at K.Line made two! One in navy silk with the daintiest lace:
And another in rose pink - can you believe this was the test version?!
Yvonne from Handije Handges made one using a pretty print:
A sassy purple Ruby was made by Chris at Cuada Designs:
Melissa at Fehr Trade made a gorgeous seafoam green slip, and even managed to make some cute panties from the remnants too!
Suzy from Suzy Sewing has just posted about her peachy-pink version with black lace:

Elle from It's A Sewing Life is making a grey version - it looks beautiful even half-finished, and Elmo from "Adonising" Dressing for Dinner made a camisole version - what a great way to use up those smaller pieces in the stash!

This project is definitely on my 'must do' list -- even more now that i've seen so many lovely finished slips.
ReplyDeleteI will. I must. these are gorgeous! mmm...Valentine's Day is right around the corner!
ReplyDeleteOh it's so nice to see the others in the wild, too! I'm already mentally planning more for myself, including a camisole version (have you seen there was another on PR recently? http://sewing.patternreview.com/cgi-bin/readreview.pl?readreview=1&reviewnum=71345 ). Thanks so much for linking to mine! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you make it possible to see them here because I don't share in the modern social media. Yours were lovely but I see more beautiful solutions. Congratulations to everyone.

What a gorgeous version! The straps are really beautiful too.
DeleteVery lovely and sew well done! My hats off is off to all of the contributors. A slip has been on my to do list for quite awhile and I will be sure to check back here for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThanks for promoting the art form through your blog, its charming.
They all look beautiful. Interesting that the slip has faded a bit in popularity, but it is very nice to make a dress and not need to line it because of wearing a slip.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful assortment of slips!
ReplyDeleteThese are so lovely - I'm glad that you posted them. I'd really like to make the Ruby Slip in the near future.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pattern Sherry, it was a joy to make. Seeing all the other versions makes me want to start another one!
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry - this is a lovely sew along and I can't wait to try it out. Thank you to you for sharing it and the work it took to get it online.
